AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS - THE FUTURE IS NOW!

Air Source Heat Pumps are the renewable, low carbon alternative to traditional high carbon hot tub heating systems.

This reliable, renewable heating technology delivers highly efficient sustainable heating, and is becoming an increasingly popular choice for those who are looking to install renewable energy solutions in their home.

Renewable solutions such as our range of air source spa heat pumps are one of the most economical, and eco-friendly hot tub heating solutions on the market and help to not only reduce your carbon footprint, but significantly reduce your running costs.

Our new range of Air Source Heat Pumps are available as an optional upgrade exclusively on our R10 and R18 hot tub ranges.

ULTRA-HIGH EFFICIENCY

Heat pumps are currently the most cost effective form of heating using electricity, achieving an average COP (Coefficient of Performance) figures of 2.5 or more (sometimes in excess of 4), meaning that to achieve 2.5 kilowatts of heating, they use an average of less than one kilowatt of electricity!

REDUCED CARBON FOOTPRINT

Due to the fact that a heat pump doesn’t directly use combustion to generate heat (heat pumps do not burn anything), there are no carbon emissions other than those created at the point of the electricity’s production and only a small amount of electricity is needed to run the compressor. This makes a heat pump an extremely eco-friendly heating alternative.

GREAT FINANCIAL BENEFITS

A heat pump will most likely save you a lot of money on your annual electricity bills in the long term due to its very high energy efficiency ratings.

How Do Heat Pumps Work?

Heat pumps work by pumping or moving heat from one place to another by using a compressor and a circulating structure of liquid or gas refrigerant, through which heat is extracted from outside sources and pumped indoors.

Heat pumps come with multiple advantages. Pumping the heat uses less electricity as compared to when electricity is solely used as a means to convert it.

Heat pumps are rising in popularity in the UK, and the government recently started to implement a number of new schemes, incentivising the transition to green living and alternative energy usage smoother and more affordable.
